I’m Jason, a 40-year-old VFX supervisor turned realism tattoo artist, and Old Prodigy Ink is the result of a skill I never expected to unlock so late—and so naturally. After 20 years in Toronto shaping blockbuster visuals for Disney, Netflix, and Marvel, with four Emmy nominations and a fifth hoped for in 2026 on Alien Earth, I trained under world-class tattoo artist and mentor Torsten Malm. He’s stunned by my rapid progress and predicts big things; I’m determined to deliver.

My VFX eye for light, shadow, and hyper-fine detail translates directly to black and grey realism—portraits that breathe, textures that feel real, scenes that pull you in. Color is coming soon. I will serve Fergus, Elora, Wellington County, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Guelph.

Hygiene is absolute. Ontario blood-borne pathogen certified, WDG Public Health Inspected. I only use hospital-grade protocols, single-use everything—if it’s not sterile tattooing will not happen. I use only the highest quality machines, needles and supplies. Your safety and healing is my upmost importance.
